Maria Czubernat
DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, NJ – Maria Czubernat, age 76 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at her home.
Born in Poland, March 26, 1938, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Anna Zarebczan Smareuch, she had formerly resided in Clifton, NJ and Lambertville, NJ, before moving to Delaware Township in 2009.
She was a seamstress and was formerly employed by the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Her husband, Casimir Czubernat, died in 1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Eva Czubernat of Delaware Township, NJ; a granddaughter, Alexandra Phelan of Delaware Township, NJ; a sister, Aniela Galarowicz of Verona, NJ; and a brother, Joseph Smareuch of Chicago, IL.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 28, 2014, at 9:30 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Friday 8:00-9:00 AM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
